What does the future hold for mobility? Can it be fun? How much of a footprint would it hold?
The vision for this project was to create the smallest variable passenger vehicle possible, by tapping into an old relic, a sidecar motorcycle.
Mobility solution doesn't always have to be soapbox vehicle. It can be lively and fun. Livewire is exactly the brand to achieve passionate and fun solutions for future mobility.

Sidecars were popular back in the 60s, but it has been obsolete for quite some time. However, I wanted to revive this old form of transportation, therefore solving both the matter of small-footprint transportation and reviving the romance of open-air road trips.

Safety is an important part of the story when it comes to two-wheeled vehicles because the riders always want safety one way or the other. That is why I wanted to apply SMA(Shape-Memory Alloy) exterior cowl panels. These panels go over and outboard the rider, thereby 'wrapping around' and protecting passengers in case of collision.

FINAL MODEL EXECUTION

Below is a short video that I have developed in order to visually demonstrate the key features of the vehicle.
Enjoy!
